Well.... Audrea and I had great intentions for a fun filled day at the beach! Unfortunately, mother nature had a plan of her own!... It was gorgeous outside... bright, sunny, picture perfect... until you get out of your car and are almost blown away by the hurricane force winds! We all went to the beach and while the kids walked, ran, played, attempted to get in the cold water... Audrea and I bundled up in towels and hoodies! It was WINDY and COLD... not my idea of a fun day at the beach at all!
The kids played for about 20 minutes... they were sandy, cold and hungry! It didn't bother me a bit that they wanted to leave the beach and try out some of the other adventures that Galveston had to offer!
The kiddos were not going to leave Galveston without riding the Bicycles that you rent and ride down the seawall!... they loved it...FUN,FUN! We rode up and down the seawall for almost an hour... I got my workout for the day thats for sure! Whew...
After the bikes, Audrea and I persuaded the kids that we should just go shopping and try the "day at the beach" when it warms up a little bit! They were troppers... well, everyone except diddle... he was a mess ALL DAY!!! We were soon on our way... heading North on IH 45 and on our way to the mall!
At the mall... the adventures continued with the Carousel ride and rock climbing!.... look at Diddle... he had no fear at all! He thinks he is as big as his Bubba and Sis! The poor guy that worked the rock climb was surprised that Diddle would even give it a try!
Last, but not least... Diddle got to see the Easter bunny....
I have a picture of Darren and Emilie with the Easter bunny too... but Darren would have a fit if I put that one up here... I guess it will go in the scrapbook... not on the blog!

I think you should post the picture of Darren with the Easter bunny…maybe you could use it as a threat when he‘s misbehaving (LOL)!!! It looks like you all had a great time despite the cold and wind. We will have to make a beach run this summer after it warms up!
